The School of Journalism and New Media is excited to announce our first inaugural Summer Bridge Program.  Our summer bridge program will take place on the Ole Miss campus, June 7, 2024, from 9 a.m. until 5p.m.

It is our hope to bridge the gap between underserved populations in the state of Mississippi and the School of Journalism and New Media through a one-day summer enrichment event.  This  will expose juniors and seniors to careers in journalism and integrated marketing communications,  and provide a hands-on experience for all participants.  Photography, fashion, social media, sports promotion, visual design and broadcasting are all workshops that we will offer to engage students.

It is recommended that students submit a letter of recommendation from a journalism teacher or guidance counselor.
