Digital Heaven — Or Immortal Hell? (Free Webcast)

Samir Mr. Magazine

Your print magazine is about to draw its last breath of ink and you’re there by its side, holding its pages and whispering everything is going to be all right. You have a plan.

Before the Grim Reaper rides in on his pale horse, you quickly usher digital’s transplant team in and they watch as you pull the heart right out of your print magazine, leaving a gaping hole in the middle of its cover.

Handing the still-beating essence over to eager cyber hands just waiting to clone it into another URL or APP in Digital’s realms of addresses, you say a silent prayer to digital to save your ailing print child.

Nobody bothered to tell you that if your print magazine was dying in its own ink, then there is no way digital could save it. If you’re not getting your readers’ attention sitting on the newsstands or coffee table with a big, bold, beautifully bright cover literally shouting in their faces, what makes you think placing www. before your magazine’s title is going to suddenly make you a household name?

DIGITAL – PRINT = Just Another Web Address
