Ole Miss students Clare Douglas, Mary Love Fair and Ben Hurston traveled to New Orleans to report on the new Hurricane and Storm Damage protection system being constructed by the Army Corps of Engineers.
Led by journalism Professor Bill Rose, the students toured New Orleans and the surrounding areas on Feb. 23-25 as one part of a field reporting project on the flooding of the Mississippi River. The students will produce a Depth Report magazine based on their reporting.
