Recent grad promoted at Nightly Business Report

Sylvia Chapman Hall, has been named associate producer of a daily national broadcast on PBS, “The Nightly Business Report.” Ms. Hall is working as producer for the Washington, D.C., bureau and reports on-air when needed.

She graduated from the Honors College at Ole Miss with a degree from the Croft Institute in International Studies and French. She worked for two years at WLOX in Biloxi before attending graduate school at The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University where she completed a M.A. degree in Broadcast Journalism. She is now living in Washington.
